The AFTRP provides support to local districts and groups of districts in the Ile-de-France region with their planning projects: setting up economic activities, developing high quality housing programs and restructuring or planning neighbourhoods that provide a good quality of life.
The aim of the AFTRP is to work alongside local authorities to help them fully incorporate the requirements of sustainable development, in other words to “meet the needs of present generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs” (Mrs Gro Harlem Brundtland, at the United Nations forum – 1987).
