The AFTRP is a public utility company (EPIC) created by the federal government in 1962. Its territorial jurisdiction covers the entire Ile-de-France region.
Four roles : design and set-up, land and property engineering, planning, public buildings
The number and size of projects and the complementary nature of its work make the AFTRP a major player in town planning in the Ile-de-France region. It provides all the expertise of an urban developer, based around its four roles: design and set-up, land and property engineering, planning, public buildings.
Working as both a consultant and an operator, it supports local districts and groups of districts that call on it for assistance with the creation of new neighbourhoods or the renewal of existing areas, from the design stage and throughout the entire implementation phase. In other words it provides support with definition of the program, land management, creation of spaces and public systems, marketing the serviced land and quality specifications for builders.
It also acts as a provider of services in the land sector (acquisitions, management, transfers) or for the provision of public buildings (contracts of agency for building colleges, schools, fire stations, etc.).

160 creative, dynamic staff.

A town planning “workshop”
Bringing together skills in town planning, architecture and landscaping, it contributes to the high quality of the projects carried out by the AFTRP right from the design stage.
A project-based approach
A clear contractual framework based on transparency and a relationship of trust.
A dedicated contact: the project manager who leads a multidisciplinary team assisting the local authority.
A close partnership
As it is totally separate from companies that work in the property business, the AFTRP can offer a wide range of services, to fit in with the strategic objectives of local authorities.
Locally based
The AFTRP is organized into geographical areas and has set up two local offices, North and South, based around the Roissy and Evry areas.
